We made a book. We needed a cover. So, bam... an art project. Our cover could be anything we wanted it to be, but it needed to be related to our book in some way .And it had to be done in watercolor or Photoshop. I chose watercolor. Obviously. It is a Ginger flower, the flower I was named after. I like how light the colors are and the small heart at the top. Having no line art, other than the watercolor itself, made it a very soft painting. Not literally, but to look at. It was difficult to paint the flower, but the most accurate representation would be draft #3. It looks the most 3D of them all. The flower is actually a bit more red, but that would be too harsh. The leaves aren't arranged like mine, but I like how it looks. The offical name of the flower is Zingiber Officinale.
